Summer Fun Fitness Challenge 2010

Summer Fun Fitness Challenge 2010

Stay active over the summer by joining in with Worthing Leisure’s Summer Fun Fitness Challenge and collect awards along the way!

Whats the Challenge?

The challenge is to complete 30 lots of physical activities. This can include anything from walking the dog or rock climbing to street dancing or playing basketball! It doesn’t have to cost a penny and you’ll earn prizes along the way. It’s just a fun free way to keep active over the summer holidays.

How it works:

The first 10 activities are to be completed during term time, with 4 of these sessions during school PE lessons. The following 6 are to be completed after school or at the weekend.

The following 20 activities can be completed any time in the school summer holidays between 26th July and the 5th of September.

Step 1 Complete diary 1 whilst at school and at the weekend.
Step 2 Bring your completed diary 1 to Worthing Leisure Centre or the Aquarena to sign up to complete the challenge.
Step 3 Complete 20 activities over the holidays and get an adult to sign each one off.
Step 4 Return your completed diary to Worthing Leisure Centre or your school by the end of the first week of term.
Step 5 Come along to the presentation evening on the 18th of September to receive your certificate.

Bonus prizes will also be awarded to kids that have completed the largest selection of activities, most interesting activity and ‘Green award’ if all activities completed are environmentally friendly.

Good luck and more importantly have fun over the holidays.
