The Mayor of Worthing's Annual Charity Swim
On Saturday 24 March 2012.
Please book early to avoid disappointment and indicate your chosen start time. We will only contact you if your chosen time slot is full.
On the Day - come straight to the Studio no more than 20 minutes before your swim time to collect a copy of your Registration Form and wrist band.
When you get to Poolside, you will be allocated a lane. Please hand your registration form to the person counting your lengths. You must stay in that lane unless told otherwise.
Once you have finished swimming the lane counter will hand you a slip of paper stating the amount of lengths achieved. Once dried, go back to the Studio and show your slip so that it can be recorded, and exchange your wrist band for a Mayor’s wristband and certificate of achievement. You will have the opportunity to have a picture taken with the Mayor.
Sponsorship Monies - together with a paying-in slip can be handed in on the night, or a cheque (made payable to The Mayor’s Charities) can be sent to the Civic Office, Town Hall, Worthing. All money must be paid in by 21 April.
Medals - once money has been collected, medals will be given to the schools who will arrange for the Mayor to attend school assemblies to hand out.
Cups - the Mayor will arrange afternoon tea in her Parlour before handing out the cups at a Council Meeting.
Photographs - we value your children’s welfare and safety so there will be no photographs allowed on the evening by the general public. There will be an official photographer if anyone wishes to purchase a photograph.
