West Tarring Bowls Club was formed in 1924. For some 20 years it played its home matches on a green in the Thomas A’Becket area of West Worthing. It was this location that gave the club its nickname of The Bishops. Shortly after the war, the land on which the green was situated was sold for development so the club moved to its present location at Field Place
If you are interested in joining a friendly, mixed club, whether you are just taking up the game of bowls, new to the area and seeking a local club or just looking for a change of environment, we would be pleased to hear from you.
