Fundraising events in 2009

In September 2009 our colleague Julie Bateman organised a book sale for Breakthrough Breast Cancer and raised £45.00. During "Wear it Pink Day" in October 2009, our book sale raised another £38.00 for the same charity.

Worthing Aquarena took part in the Splashaton 2009

The staff and Splashers of Worthing Aquarena raised £273 for Tommy’s Splashaton event in June 2009.

Splashaton 2009 was the most successful event raising over £279,000!

Every penny raised will go into Tommy’s vital, life saving research into pregnancy complications at three research centres in London, Manchester and Edinburgh. Tommy’s research centres exist so that more parents can take home a healthy baby.
